Bee keepers! That's hilarious. I never got to comment on your treatment update post, but I think the care you are receiving is amazing and your ability to keep it all straight is even more amazing! You're my hero.
Dysfunctional families: had no idea there was a patron saint for this. Wouldn't be anything but Catholic, though, you know? We've got it covered. Heavenly aspirations and a good, firm grip on reality; I guess Mother Church knows what patrons we need. (And my patron saint, Catherine of Siena, is a gem, but I guess I'm sort of jealous now!)
I had no idea Eugene de Mazenod is the patron saint of disfunctional families! It does not sound too promising, but then I remembered!!!!!
HE is the founder of the order with whom my DH studied his whole life as well as all his brothers and nice and nephews now.
They are the Oblatos of Inmaculate Mary (not sure of the name in English) and if this consoles you they are AWESOME!!! They are great teachers and very , very Marian. My DH´s deep devotion to the Virgin and great prayer life has a lot to do with this order and its founder.
I told my DH that you have this Patron Saint and he was extremely happy!!! It seems he is a great interecesor for the Marian devotion in families. He brings Her to the family!!!! So do not worry too much about the disfunctional family part =) Mazenod will bring the Virgin to you!
Too funny! Eric actually got the patron saint of pharmacists (however, St. Nick is also the patron saint of prostitutes.) I feel a good year coming on for you...:)

disfunctional families, love it. need a mural of him on my parents front door :)
haha that is funny :) I am hoping that what the saint is a patron of has nothing to do with ME, as you'll see in my blog post tonight!
Coincidence?
I think not. ;)
HAHA! God is a funny one!

St. Ambrose is one of my favorite saints! If I ever have a baby, Ambrose is one of my top names for a boy! :)
I don't really know who Eugene de Mazenod is, though! I'll have to look him up.
Ditto to WheelbarrowRider! Hahaha! God definitely has a sense of humor.

But I await an explanation for the bee-keepers.
